2026 Sportsman Open 262 - A Center Console Ready for Fishing, Cruising, and Family Days

The 2026 Sportsman Open 262 brings together the performance and open layout of a center console with the features that make it easy to spend a full day on the water. At 26.5 feet, it offers a great balance of space and manageability, with twin Yamaha F200s, Garmin electronics, dedicated tackle storage, and comfortable seating.

Performance & Capability

Twin Yamaha F200XSA2 engines deliver a combined 400 horsepower, giving the Open 262 plenty of power for coastal cruising and offshore trips. The twin-engine setup also provides responsive handling and added confidence when maneuvering around the dock or heading into open water.

Features & Onboard Comfort

Twin Yamaha F200XSA2 — 400 HP combined
Dual Garmin 12" GPS displays with built-in Wi-Fi
Fiberglass hardtop with integrated LED lighting
Fiberglass leaning post with dual premium chairs
Dedicated tackle storage
Fiberglass console with cooler seat
Serenity Sileather Icecap White upholstery
ProMariner 4-bank battery charger
Storm Cloud Gray hull sides and hardtop underside
Jet Black hull bottom with black powder-coated accents

Why This Boat Stands Out

The Open 262 hits a sweet spot for boaters who want more capability without stepping into an oversized boat. Its 26-foot layout leaves plenty of room for fishing gear, passengers, and moving around the boat, while the twin-engine setup and hardtop make it well suited to everything from offshore fishing trips to relaxed days cruising the Cape.
