“An extremely popular model, the Carver 500 Cockpit MY is a cockpit version of the Carver 455/456 Aft Cabin with additional fuel. Beginning with the maple interior of the 500, the galley is aft in the salon rather than forward as it is in most motoryachts this size. This floorplan makes it easier to access the galley from the aft deck and bridge, while at the same time pushing the salon seating and entertaining areas forward. This Carver 500 model has a folding bulkhead in the VIP cabin concealing a small guest stateroom/den to port with convertible bunk beds. A sliding door in the master stateroom opens to the cockpit with its molded boarding steps and walk-thru transom door. Walking aboard you can enter from the swim platform via a transom door onto the aft cockpit or board from side boarding gates from a fixed pier and enter the aft deck from port and starboard wing doors. The aft deck has a well-appointed wet bar with 270-degree water views and molded fiberglass steps down to the aft cockpit and up to the upper helm deck. The upper helm deck has all the needed electronics with double helm seats behind and forward of the helm/dashboard. Down from the aft deck through the companionway you find a spacious main salon and dinette forward with 270-degree water views. The dinette is U-shaped to port with high-low adjustable table. There is an L-shaped settee to starboard. The galley is aft to port. The galley has all the comforts of home including separate refrigerator and freezer, double sink, electric stove top with oven, microwave and even a trash compactor.
Below and forward is a center-island VIP cabin along with a convertible third stateroom with over-under bunks or a sofa. There is a guest/day-head to starboard with Vacu-flush head and separate stall shower/tub. The master stateroom with ensuite head is aft with a separate sliding door entrance from the aft deck and an aft-facing center-island queen berth. The master head has a central vanity and separate enclosed Vacu-flush head and stall shower.
