Tripper Crisp brings a wealth of international boating and marina experience to the service and parts helm of Legendary Marine. Our favorite Aussie manages the overall marina operations in Destin. He is a passionate boater and professional yachtsman, having served as a former member of Australia's prestigious Americas Cup team and competing on the Maxi-Ocean yacht, Kialoa III, where he logged more than 150,000 nautical miles in yacht racing circuits around the world.
Tripp's stellar marine industry career includes posts as Director of Service for Bertram Yachts with responsibility for the Western United States; Director of Operations for the Newport Shipyard and Development including 400 wet berths and 200 dry stack; Manager and Developer of Clearwater Bay Marine and Country Club, Hong Kong with 300 wet berths and 125 dry storage; and Director of Service for Olympic Boating Centers featuring nine facilities representing US Marine's largest independent dealer.

Loren Kortum has worked more than a dozen years in the marine industry in various capacities including sales and sales management, service and service management. In addition, he is also certified in the following brand applications: Formula Boats, Chaparral Boats, Yamaha 5 Star Certified Management, Yamaha Strategic Dealer Management, Mercury University Service Management and Customer First Training. As Service Manager, Loren leads a team of highly committed service professionals who share the common passion of delivering exemplary customer service.

Trevor Hardy is a long time resident of the Emerald Coast and has always been drawn to the water. Trevor carries professional certifications with Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Cape Horn, Chaparral and Formula. He also oversees the Legendary Marine Performance Division and is an avid powerboat racing enthusiast.
"It is great to be part of a highly dedicated team of service professionals and I am very happy to be an integral part of this organization," says Trevor. "Across the board, each person on our team is focused on delivering only the best service to our customers. To me, this means that we fix the problem the first time so that our valued customers can return to the water and maximize their enjoyment as soon, and as much as possible. We send each technician to training schools throughout the year for thorough training and continued professional development. Every day, it's all about our commitment to the customer."
Bruce Ming is an original "Destinite," born and raised right on the Emerald Coast. His love of the water began at an early age and led to a lifelong career in the marine industry. Bruce holds a captain's license and prior to joining Legendary Marine, his work varied from running and working on charter boats for more than 15 years, to selling and servicing a wide variety of major boats and engines of all brands through his own business of 30 years.
"I am very proud to be part of the Legendary Marine family and especially to work in this award-winning service department which is second to none," said Bruce. "I look forward to helping our service customers enjoy their time on the water and in assisting in maintenance and care for their investments. I'm a big believer in caring for your boat to maximize its performance and life."
Ken Craig has lived in Fort Walton Beach, Fl. throughout his life, except for a brief 4- year stint in the U.S Navy, from 1988-1992, where he worked in maintenance control for the largest F-14 squadron in the Navy. Upon returning home, Ken worked for another boat dealership for many years with stints in the warranty and service departments. He has also worked in the truck and heavy equipment repair field, in customer service. However, his love for boating brought him to Legendary Marine, where he serves as the Yacht Service Adviser.
“I am very happy to be a part of the Legendary Marine Team," says Ken. "Working alongside a group of great employees is only one of the things that make this job a great one. I am very excited to interact with the many valued customers that Legendary Marine has, and to help give them the most enjoyable boating experience each time that they are out on the water.”
Scott Ramey serves as Assistant Warranty Administrator in the Service Department at Legendary Marine. In this capacity, he coordinates the processing of all warranty claims. He's in his element working in the marine industry, having grown up on and around boats since childhood and owning his first twin engine at 23. Besides boating, he enjoys music, golf and a variety of outdoor activities, plus spending time with his two kids.
"My goal is to professionally and promptly expedite all warranty claims for our customers," says Scott. "Ultimately, my desire is to ensure the most positive experience for our customers."
Charlie Brown handles inventory control of parts for Legendary Marine in Destin, but assists with other dealership locations as well. Charlie brings more than 45 years of solid parts and service experience, including automotive. He had long dreamed of living on the Emerald Coast and finding a way to mix business and pleasure ... and Legendary Marine is the fortunate beneficiary to have him heading up the parts department.
"I feel so blessed to live and work here," says Charlie. "There is just something so special about being around the beaches and the gulf that is like a magnet. This area is wonderful for boaters and anglers! I'm feel very lucky to work in the marine industry and am committed to helping all of our Legendary Marine customers and friends find what they need to maximize their boating experience."
Darrell Bortmas works in the Destin Parts Department, with responsibilities for supplying technician parts as well as assisting customers with their parts needs. He worked previously for several other boat dealerships in sales and parts, as well as serving as a lot manager.
