Tripper Crisp brings a wealth of international boating and marina experience to the service and parts helm of Legendary Marine. Our favorite Aussie manages the overall marina operations in Destin. He is a passionate boater and professional yachtsman, having served as a former member of Australia's prestigious Americas Cup team and competing on the Maxi-Ocean yacht, Kialoa III, where he logged more than 150,000 nautical miles in yacht  racing circuits around the world.

Tripp's stellar marine industry career includes posts as Director of Service for Bertram Yachts with responsibility for the Western United States; Director of Operations for the Newport Shipyard and Development including 400 wet berths, 200 dry stack; Manager and Developer of Clearwater Bay Marine and Country Club, Hong Kong with 300 wet berths, 125 dry storage; and Director of Service for Olympic Boating Centers featuring nine facilities representing US Marine's largest independent dealer.

Loren Kortum has worked more than a dozen years in the marine industry in various capacities including sales and sales management, service and service management. In addition, he is also certified in the following brand applications: Formula Boats, Chaparral Boats, Yamaha 5 Star Certified Management, Yamaha Strategic Dealer Management, Mercury University Service Management and Customer First Training. As Service Manager, Loren leads a team of highly committed service professionals who share the common passion of delivering exemplary customer service.

Bruce Ming is an original "Destinite," born and raised here. His love of the water began at an early age and led to a lifelong career in the marine industry. Bruce holds a captain's license and prior to joining Legendary Marine, his work varied from running and working on charter boats for more than 15 years, to selling and servicing a wide variety of major boats and engines of all brands through his own business of 30 years.

"I am very proud to be part of the Legendary Marine family and especially to work in this award-winning service department which is second to none," said Bruce. "I look forward to helping our service customers enjoy their time on the water and in assisting in maintenance and care for their investments. I'm a big believer in caring for your boat to maximize its performance and life."

Bill Kight has worked in the marine industry since the late 70', having first launched his career as crew on a private yacht situated on the east coast of Florida during his college days. This experience hooked him for the boating lifestyle and led him to a lifetime career in the industry. He has earned two captain's licenses, owned and operated a yacht refinishing business, achieved formal training in yacht design, been involved in sales, managed a small service yard with hauling capability up to 60'. Bill has also served as a service manager/project manager on yacht refits and general service for yachts over 120 including routine maintenance, complete repaints, fabrication/ installation of new interiors and repowers.  

"I chose to work for Legendary Marine in Destin because of its outstanding reputation as a Top 100 Dealer and award-winning service center," says Bill. "Legendary Marine has given me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge working on a broad spectrum of boats and I have enjoyed the experience tremendously. Trevor is a long time resident of the Emerald Coast and has always been drawn to the water.  Trevor carries professional certifications with Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki, Proline, Contender, Cape Horn, Chaparral and Formula. He also oversees the Legendary Performance division and is an avid powerboat racing enthusiast.  

"It is great to be part of a highly dedicated team of service professionals and I am very happy to be an integral part of this organization," says Trevor. "Across the board, each person on our team is focused on delivering only the best service to our customers.  To me, this means that we fix the problem the first time so that our valued customers can return to the water and maximize their enjoyment as soon and as much as possible. We send each technician to training schools throughout the year for thorough training and continued professional development. Every day, It's all about our commitment to the customer."
